Member of Parliament for South Guadalcanal David Dei Pacha will stand a full trial again on charges of conversion and abuse of office on the 14th of April.
The Magistrates Court set his trial date this morning.
Mr Pacha is accused of allegedly misusing more than 148-thousand dollars of constituency funds.
He was acquitted of the charges in 2012 after the Magistrates Court found there was no case to answer.
But the prosecution appealed against the ruling and the matter was remitted to the Magistrates Court.
The prosecution confirmed to the Court today they will be calling 21 witnesses to testify.
The trial is set for three weeks.
