Work to improve the National Parliament house is ongoing.
Prime Minister Manasseh Sogavare made the assurance yesterday, during deliberations on the 2015 budget in Parliament.
Prime Minister Sogavare said the budget has been allocated to improve the national parliament, the Office of the Leader of Opposition and the Office of the Leader of Independent Group.
He said works to improve the National Parliament house is ongoing.
“Air conditioning at the parliament is not up to the required standards to cool off the place but work is ongoing on it to make sure that the facilities are repaired Mr Chairman, but we take serious note of the comments raised by the member.”
