Progress on the Doma Township project has been delayed awaiting the outcome of a court case.
Minister for Provincial Government Silas Tausinga explains, the contractor hired for initial work on the area took the Guadalcanal province to court over contract payment issues.
“The work that the project contractors did has questioned its payment. They have all the documentation for the work they did and they are still asking for their payment.”
