Prime Minister Manasseh Sogavare has handed over the promised $1,500 per head ‘token of appreciation’ to the Under 12 and Under 14 Futsal Players who returned victorious from the Australian National Futsal Championships last month along with their coaches.
The young players and their coaches were all smiles when the Secretary to the Prime Minister, Joseph Waleanisia and Special Secretary to the Prime Minister, Andrew Muaki, presented each of them a yellow envelope containing the token of appreciation from the Prime Minister on behalf of the Democratic Coalition for Change Government.
Speaking during a brief ceremony at the Prime Minister’s Office, Mr Waleanisia said the Prime Minister and the entire DCC Government are so proud about their performance.
