Prime Minister Manasseh Sogavare has called on the Provincial Government of Malaita to work closely with the Democratic Coalition for Change Government to develop the Province.
Prime Minister Sogavare made the statement during a presentation he delivered in Malaita’s provincial capital, Auki this morning.
He urged the Malaita Provincial Executive to prepare all required processes to implement development.
In his response, the Malaita Provincial Premier thanked Prime Minister Sogavare and his delegation for the assurance and for visiting Malaita Province.
SIBC’s North Malaita stringer, Lensley Kwaimani was in Auki to cover Sogavare’s visit and he reports.
“Now is the time that we must make things happen and enough of talking. He called on the Malaita Provincial Executive to prepare what is necessary to pave the way for the development of Malaita province. In his response, the Malaita Premier thanked the Prime Minister and his delegation for considering to visit Malaita province.”
