Prime Minister Manasseh Damukana Sogavare will announce his Deputy Prime Minister and Crown Ministers to the nation as the new Government settles in.
Prime Minister Sogavare made the assurance during his maiden speech immediately following his formal announcement as the country’s 12th Prime Minister.
Mr Sogavare says he consults with the Democratic Coalition For Change (DCC) Government in the process of filling in line Ministries in the next couple of days.
The Prime Minister says, in addition, his government will have in place a Policy Framework document in the next 50 Days.
He adds, among his government’s most urgent tasks is combining the Policy Priorities of the United Democratic Party and Kadere Party – the founding parties of the DCC Government.
Mr Sogavare says, given the urgency of the tasks ahead, his government will shorten the time for the amalgamation process.
