Prime Minister Hon. Matthew Wale will depart this Sunday for official visits to Washington D.C. and Tokyo following invitations from the Governments of the United States and Japan.
During his visit to Washington, the Prime Minister is expected to hold a series of bilateral engagements including with the US State Department, Development Finance Corporation, Millennium Challenge Corporation and Peace Corps focusing on strengthening cooperation and advancing mutual interests.
He will then travel to Tokyo to meet with the Prime Minister of Japan Sanae Takaichi and engage in high-level discussions aimed at deepening ties between Solomon Islands and Japan.
