The National Government is using its National Transport Fund to repair deteriorating road conditions across the country.
Permanent Secretary for the Ministry of Infrastructure Development, Steven Maesiola disclosed.
PS Maesiola specified different road sections, which were undergoing maintenance and improvements.
“Maintaining and improvement of roads and feeder roads in the country is an ongoing program, ” he said.
“Currently it covers the maintenance of feeder roads in Santa Cruz, Temotu province, Makira province, Isabel, Honiara and Guadalcanal feeder roads.
