Quan Chee supports WELSI membership

Monday 18 May, Honiara – The Women in Executive Leadership Solomon Islands (WELSI) acknowledges prominent Honiara business Quan Chee Motors for their continuous support towards the work WELSI does in empowering women in leadership roles across various sectors in the Solomon Islands

WELSI President, Ms. Pamela Naesol Alamu made the acknowledgement following the successful hosting of WELSI’s flagship training event, the 7th Solomon Islands Senior Executive Women in Leadership Program in Honiara in April 2026.

This was after Quan Chee Motors donated SBD10,000 for WELSI to cover the membership of one-hundred members to encourage membership and highlight the importance of having partners to support the advancement of women into executive and decision-making roles.

“WELSI’s achievement as a growing organization and platform to advance women in executive roles is only possible due to the support of our members and the growing trust and relationship built with partners such as Quan Chee Motors,” Ms. Alamu said.

“Our vision to provide advocacy support, ecosystem development, and strengthening for women in executive leadership can only be achieved by working collaboratively with all partners and supporters alike,” she added.

WELSI is a member-driven organization dedicated to empowering women in leadership roles across various sectors in the Solomon Islands.

By fostering mentorship, advocacy, and skill-building, WELSI aims to create a more inclusive and equitable professional landscape.
