R.A.M.S.I CONGRATULATES STAKEHOLDERS FOR FREE FAIR ELECTIONS

She said a successful election of this kind sends a clear message to the rest of the world that Solomon Islands is a democratic and stable member of the international community.

She said it also sends all the right signals to investors, confirming that this is a country open for business.

The RAMSI Special Coordinator says, all Solomon Islanders can rightly be proud of these achievements.

Meanwhile, the Special Coordinator has appealed to the Royal Solomon Islands Police Force to continue in their efforts to provide security,
law and order as the MP-elects gather to form the Solomon Islands next Government.

Justin Braithwaite says with the newly elected Members of Parliament now gathering in Honiara to form the next government and to elect a Prime Minister, RAMSI also calls on citizens to respect the rule of
law during this process.

She said, RAMSI asks all Solomon Islanders to support their police as they work with communities and the new members of parliament, to allow the next government of Solomon Islands to take office with dignity and respect.
