The Regional Assistance Mission to Solomon Islands (RAMSI) will celebrate its 13th Anniversary at the Yam Cultural Festival in Afio, Small Malaita.
SIBC’s Moddie Nanau reports, MP for Small Malaita Rick Hou extends the invitation to RAMSI to celebrate its Anniversary at the festival.
She says the anniversary celebration will fall on Sunday 24th July, the same day the yam festival officially opens.
“Preceding the Yam Cultural Festival will be RAMSI’s program after an early combined service and around 9.30am on Sunday will the anniversary be held.”
Ms Nanau says people are converging in Afio for the festival from neighbouring communities in East and West Are’are and Small Malaita region, including Government Ministries, Private companies, and organisations.
