Deputy Leader of Opposition and Member of Parliament for Small Malaita Rick Hou has urged citizens of Solomon Islands to respect the recent Court decision regarding the issue of tax-free salaries and other entitlement benefits for Members of Parliament.
Mr Hou made the statement in a media conference today to express the Opposition Group’s concerns regarding issues affecting people in the country which the National Government has yet to address.
“We would like to ask everybody to respect the Court ruling because it is the highest that our courts can go and so we are unable to anything about that.”
