ROC Taiwan delivers ”One Student, One Solar Lamp Project”.

Ambassador Luo said, the clean energy project demonstrate Taiwan’s continued commitment to Solomon Islands, which is to promote reliable and affordable solar energy to the students and rural villagers.

“The Solar lamp project is intended to help Solomon Islands students with better lighting system for their studies,” he said.

“The Clean energy project is demonstrates Taiwan’s continued commitment to promote reliable and affordable solar energy to the student and rural villagers.”

In his response, Prime Minister Rick Houenipwela said he on behalf of the government and the people of Solomon Islands must acknowledge the government and the people of the Republic of China on Taiwan for their continues support to the government and people of Solomon Islands.

Prime Minister Houenipwela assured ROC Taiwan, since the program was conceived in 2011, it has benefited many Solomon Islanders, especially school children.
