The Royal Solomon Islands will begin a new operation called “Operation Community Visitation,” as of tomorrow.
This is a new approach to building trust between communities and the RSIPF.
Explaining the new operation is Deputy Police Commissioner, Gabriel Manelusi.
“This is a new approach that police intends to carry out to establish a better partnership with the community to improve information and intelligence gathering so that together we (community and police) can identify and deal wth issues before they occur.”
SIBC News understand this operation is part of the RSIPF’s new Crime Prevention Strategy.
