The Solomon Islands National Teachers Association, SINTA, has called for an investigation into the resignation of its former Credit Union Chairmen, Donation Hougura and Lense Bambo last month.
SINTA Acting General Secretary Walter Tesuatai told local reporters yesterday, SINTA is calling on the Credit Union League, the Central Bank of Solomon Islands and the Minister responsible to conduct an investigation into the two’s resignation.
Mr Tesuatai said the call is important as many members of the Credit Union have yet to receive tangible benefits from the union, under the leadership of Mr Hougura and Mr Bambo.
