Two schools in North Malaita were fortunate to be part of a series of evaluation and monitoring workshops conducted by Save the Children in the region recently.
The schools were Sikofata Primary and Bita’ama Community High school.
SIBC’s North Malaita stringer John Andrew Kiri reported the workshops were the final of a series of workshops held by Save the Children throughout the country.
He says the workshops were aimed at evaluating and monitoring both schools in terms of their three-year plan developments.
“Each one of the schools has their three-year development plans where they have their priority targeted areas. Number one is access, two is quality and three is management. So that is why Save the Children’s one day monitoring and evaluation workshop by field officer and coordinator Timson Kaui, behind a series of workshop, wants to find out how well the schools have gone about the three priority areas I had mentioned.”
