He said this tedious process includes verification of all the political parties’ constitutions, manifestoes, forms, symbols and membership schedules.

Mr Ziru said deadline for all political parties will be in accordance with the announcement of the polling day by the Governor General, Sir Frank Kabui.

But the registrar said parties seeking to launch 2014 election campaigns are advised to seek written approval from the Political Parties Commission.

He said a figure count puts 16 political parties and groupings have been formed to contest the 2014 National Elections, some have been launched while others have yet to do so.
