A four-days business workshop has ended in Honiara today.
Facilitated by visiting United States Entrepreneurship expert SamiraCook-Gaines, the workshop attracts women who are interested in going into business and business owners.
US Business expert Samira Cook-Gaines told SIBC News in an exclusive interview today she has seen a lot of potential with the women in Solomon Islands.
“I see a lot of potential in Solomon Islands. I see a lot of the potential in the women here, they are very smart, they are already doing something, they are already Entrepreneurs. These are women who have learned how to survive, business will be easy for them. They just need the very discreet steps to business development.”
Ms Gaines said she has a wonderful time talking with business women and aspiring business women in Solomon Islands.
“I’ve had a wonderful time talking to the women in business and women who are aspiring for business. We’ve talked about starting a business and what it looks like, how do you plan a business, how do you prepare a budget for the start up of your business.”
