Solomon Islands Ports Authority, SIPA, Board and Management is proposing to construct a passenger terminal at the Point Cruz wharf to encourage cruise development in Solomon Islands.
SIPA Interim Chief Executive Officer, Jane Waetara said the proposed terminal has already been designed and ready to be finalised for the first stage of construction.
“The Board and Management are now embarking on the development of a proposed passenger terminal at the Point Cruz wharf. It’s now being designed and ready to be finalised and then hopefully we can source some resources to construct that, out timeline for that is going to be by July 2015.”
