The Government on behalf of the people of Solomon Islands extend warm greetings and heartfelt congratulations to the Government and people of the Republic of Fiji as they celebrate their 55th Independence Anniversary.
Prime Minister Hon. Jeremiah Manele, MP, conveyed his message to Fijian Prime Minister Hon. Sitiveni Ligamamada Rabuka, highlighting the deep and enduring friendship between Solomon Islands and Fiji, built on shared Melanesian heritage, cultural ties, and mutual respect.
“This year’s theme, ‘Peace, Unity and Progress for All,’ reflects the enduring spirit of the Fijian people—a spirit that inspires hope, resilience, and shared purpose across our Blue Pacific region. Fiji’s journey since independence stands as a shining example of courage, leadership, and unity in diversity,” Prime Minister Manele said.
