Solomon Islands has been singled out amongst three Pacific Island nations to benefit from a fashion and cultural industries coaching training.
The Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat says practitioners, government officials, representatives from arts and culture associations, women’s groups, tourism operators and other private sector organisations will be among the participants who will gather for a national workshop later this year.
Funded by the European Union, under the ‘Enhancing the Pacific Cultural Industries’ project, the workshop offers an opportunity for key stakeholders in the public, private and civil society sectors to voice their ideas and present their programs.
