Solomon Islands has called for Trans-boundary partnership in disaster risk management.
Minister for Environment, Climate Change, Disaster Management and Meteorology Samuel Manetoali has called on world leaders to form Trans-boundary partnerships in order to effectively carry out disaster risk reduction and to increase resilience.
Mr Manetoali made the call last week when addressing the Third United Nations World Disaster Risk Reduction Conference he attended alongside other world leaders in the city of Sendai in Japan.
