The solovisu cultural program in the Weathercoast of Guadalcanal launched by the Prime Minister Hon. Gordon Darcy last December has ended successfully with the final solovisu ceremony at Sunghu Village, Wanderer Bay last Friday.
A total of nine solovisu ceremonies was held in the Vatukulau, Duidui, Talise and Wanderer Bay Wards with a budget of 2.8 million.
Speaking on behalf of his people, the Member of Parliament for West Guadalcanal and Minister of Mines, Energy and Rural Electrification, Hon. Moses Garu congratulated the Government and the Prime Minister; the various Ministries involved and the Guadalcanal Province for their tireless commitment and dedication that enable us to come this far.”
Hon. Garu urges his people to reconcile and forgive one another.
