The South Seas Evangelical Church has begun celebrations to mark its Golden Jubilee at the site of the mission’s first arrival – Ambu, Malaita Province.
The gathering is reported to expect between 6-thousand to 7-thousand delegates from as far as Vanuatu, and from other Solomon Islands provinces with SSEC church establishments.
Deputy Prime Minister Manasseh Maelanga, Finance Minister Rick Hou and the Aoke-Langa Langa MP Matthew Wale were also part of the celebration in Ambu.
