The appointment of Honourable Bodo Dettke to head the Ministry of Forestry and Research attracts potential conflict of interest.
Transparency Solomon Islands (TSI) made the statement after Prime Minister Hon. Manasseh Sogavare and his Democratic for Change Government defended Hon. Dettke’s appointment to be the Government Minister responsible for the Ministry of Forestry.
TSI says while it appreciates the decision, the truth is still uncertain as it is yet to be tested.
