Taiwan’s Ambassador to Solomon Islands says he is pleased with the Democratic Coalition for Change (DCC) Government policy to prioritise education.
Victor Te-sun Yu was speaking during the handover of school materials for Marara Community High School in Guadalcanal province this week.
He said Solomon Islands is blessed with natural resources, but these may run out one day.
He adds, his Government is glad that Education has been realised and prioritised by the DCC Government.
“And I am very glad to see that education has become a very important policy area in the DCC Government’s strategic development policy under the leadership of Prime Minister Sogavare.”
Meanwhile, the Taiwanese Ambassador says his Government will continue to support the development of education in Solomon Islands.
