It will be a matter of time and police will knock on the doors and arrest those involved in the recent burning of seven homes in Zion village, Central Kwara’ae, Malaita province.
Malaita Provincial Police Commander Alfred Uiga says the burning could link to the death of an elderly man over the weekend.
Mr Uiga says, police investigators are closing in on the case and suspects will soon be charged.
“Those responsible are the immediate relatives of the diceased and time will tell when the police will knock at their doors and arrest them.”
Mr Uiga urges all parties involved to refrain from taking the laws into their own hands.
Meanwhile, a suspect has been arrested in relation to the death of the elderly man.
