A frequent contributor over land issues on Malaita has supported the call by former Guadalcanal Politician Kamilo Teke who describes the open invitation by national leaders for locals to give land for development as too general, risky and unsafe.
Rocky Hardy Tisa says he supports Mr. Teke’s sentiments on the point that land reform must be adequate to customary right of ownership.
Last week, Kamilo Teke called on National Leaders to equip landowners with the knowledge to identify the best development for their land instead of begging landowners to allow their land for development.
