The Government has signed an agreement with local tourism company Solomon Host and a Brisbane-based video production company, Torn Parachute, for the gateway project this week.
The gateway project involves displaying of important pictorial and informative statements via plasma screens to the traveling public at the arrival and departure lounges of the international airport.
Permanent Secretary for the Ministry of Tourism, John Wasi said the country needs aggressive promotion to boost the tourism sector and assist in maintaining the efforts of enforcing the country’s law.
