The Honiara City Council, HCC, has made clarifications following criticisms raised against the re-opening of the Sol Plaza at Town Ground in Honiara.
A spokesman from the Council told SIBC News that the building was never declared a failed building.
The spokesperson says the Town and Country Planning Board has issued the owners of the building with a completion requirement meaning, the building must complete requirements by the Country Planning Board.
