UNDP HONIARA OFFICE ASSURED FARMERS OF TOOLS

All farming tools for the Project Community sites in North Malaita and Lau Lagoon have been shipped from Honiara and they are currently stored in the Agriculture Office in Auki ready to be delivered to the Communities concerned.

The Project Management Unit is urging the concerned community to work closely with the Project Provincial Coordinator in Auki regarding any information on the delivery of the farming tools to the right communities.

The Project has asked Bita’ama community to go through the Project Provincial Coordinator for Malaita to give them updates and facts on issues relating to the project instead of going to the media.

UNDP Honiara explains, SWoCK project is a Government Project led by the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock and the Ministry of Environment, Climate Change, Disaster Management and Meteorology, facilitated by the United Nations Development program.
