Manaoba residents in North Malaita have experienced water shortage after all their water sources dried up.
The Island with about 20 villages have to travel to the main land in search for drinking water after months of drought.
Community Elder, Basil Mouriasi told SIBC News, without clean drinking water, people suffer.
“As a community leader myself I have suffered the water shortage situation and it is difficult as water is really critical.”
Mr Mouriasi calls on responsible authorities to assist them with proper and clean water supply.
