A 48 year old woman has died last yesterday at the Honiara National referral hospital after she was assaulted on Saturday night.
A press statement from the Police media unit confirmed the incident happened on the 3rd of June 2017 at about 23:30 hrs at Forest Valley, White River, West Honiara.
The statement also clarified that the woman received wounds, and had bruising on her body as result of the assault.
