WORLD METEOROLOGY DAY

Deputy Director of Met Service Lloyd Tahani says it will be an opportunity to learn about the essential services MET is providing in the country.

“The public can come and witness the role of the Met Services and the types of instruments used, how information can be heard through the radio, how forecasts are tailored and that people would know what the Met Service is doing in providing this essential service to them and the focus is also on our schools where they have weather and climate in their curricilum, they also have the opportunity to come.”
