The Australian High Commission’s First Secretary, Robin Perry has praised the Correctional Services Solomon Islands as one of RAMSI’s big success stories, saying it is a key pillar for the administration of justice in Solomon Islands.
Mr Perry made the statement this week during an official handover ceremony of newly built staff houses for the CSSI at Naha in East Honiara.
He said the Correctional Services underwent an important shift in its role and its main focus is now on rehabilitation to enable inmates to become productive members of society once again.
