HIGH COURT TO RULE ON WUSI’s LEGALITY

The High Court will this Friday, deliver its ruling on the legality of the Workers Union of Solomon Islands (WUSI). Chief Executive Officer of the Solomon Islands Ports Authority Colin Yow challenged the legality of the trade Union, who represented employees he terminated in April last year.

SINA EXTENDED STRIKE NOTICE BY 30 DAYS
The Solomon Islands Nurses Association (SINA) has extended its strike notice by a further 30 days. The extension is effective tomorrow, 8th April, after the initial 28 days notice lapsed today.
