SIPEU TERMINATES THREE EMPLOYEES
The Solomon Islands Public Employees Union (SIPEU) has terminated three of its employees in relation to missing moneys. A board member of SIPEU, Magistrate Jim Seuika confirmed one was an accountant who was terminated after the newly appointed board came in.

TDP TO HOLD PRE-HEARING FOR WUSI & SOLOMON WATER CASE
The Trade Dispute Panel (TDP) will hold a pre-hearing for the case between the Workers Union of Solomon Islands (WUSI) and Solomon Water Wednesday this week. The case was referred to the Panel after the majority of Solomon Water employees voted to go on strike in September this year.

The High Court is yet to set a hearing date against the Chief Executive Officer of Ports Authority for contempt of Court. The Solomon Islands National Union of Workers filed the case on behalf of 16 workers the Ports CEO Collin Yow, terminated late April this year.
