The Correctional Services of Solomon Islands (CSSI) has today celebrated the graduation of its new officers.
A total of 35 correctional officers graduated at a ceremony this morning.
Speaking at the graduation, Minister of Police and Correctional Services Chris Laore said the new officers graduation is a milestone to ensuring the safety of Solomon Islands.
Minister Laore also said the new officers will bring new fundamental values like diversity,respect and capacity development to the country.
“We bear witness to the vision which strive to enhance the safety of Solomon Island communities, by providing secure and human containment and facilitating the rehabilitation of business”, said Mr. Laore.
