Prime Minister Manasseh Sogavare said the ultimate goal of the Democratic Coalition for Change (DCC) Government is to set a foundation to work together and pull the country out of the self-created economic inferiority to a sustainable path.
Prime Minister Sogavare made the statement in parliament last Friday.
He told parliament, his Government aims to set a foundation for working together to place the country in a sustainable path.
He said the government would like to fully utilize the public and private sector participation strategy.
“In this agenda Mr Speaker the Government would like to fully utilise the Public-Private Sector Participation strategy.”
The Prime Minister adds the government will address the basic infrastructure needs of investors and sort out land issues for major developments with the support of development partners.
“And under this strategy Mr Speaker the Government, with the support of our development partners will be addressing the basic infrastructure needs of investors and sort out land issues in the proposed locations of the major developments.”
