The Government is working on a rural development policy and its accompanying legislative framework that will see the participation of rural people in economic activities especially in the productive and resource sectors.
Prime Minister Manasseh Sogavare revealed this in his speech as the guest of honour during the occasion to celebrate the second Appointed of Choiseul Province in Honiara yesterday.
PM Sogavare acknowledged that Lauru people are naturally hardworking and are willing to take on challenges if given the opportunity in economic activities.
