The Sahalu Ward House of Chiefs in Northwest Guadalcanal has called on the province’s National and Provincial leaders to prioritise development in the province.
The Chiefs made the call after seeing no tangible developments in their constituencies.
Acting Paramount Chief for Sahalu Ward, John Batista Kaoni calls on both the National and Provincial leaders to discuss developments for Guadalcanal Province.

“The Chiefs have asked the 21 Members of the Guadalcanal Provincial Government and the eight Members of Parliament for Guadalcanal to come and discuss together the development priorities for the province.”
Chief Kaoni adds that reviving the House of Chiefs should be a priority for the leaders.
