The Isabel Provincial Government has allocated more than SBD3 million for the construction of a new administration building at Alladyce.
Isabel Provincial Secretary John Mark Lokumana said the funding has been allocated for the proposed administration block, which will be built on provincial government land at Alladyce.
“More than three million dollars has been allocated for the new administration block,” Mr Lokumana said.
He said a survey has already been carried out at the proposed site to assess the area for the development.
“We have already carried out a survey at the proposed site to assess the area,” he said.
The proposed building is expected to provide office space for the provincial government and support plans to establish a new administrative centre at Alladyce.
Mr Lokumana said the development forms part of the provincial government’s plan to establish a new administrative centre at Alladyce.
However, the provincial government has not yet announced when construction will begin or how long the project is expected to take.
