Member of Parliament for Ulawa/Ugi, Hon. William Bradford Marau, has joined the GREAT Coalition Government.
Prime Minister Hon. Matthew Wale yesterday visited Hon. Marau at his residence before proceeding to the airport to board his flight to Palau for the Pacific Islands Forum Leaders Meeting.
During the visit, Hon. Marau congratulated the Prime Minister and formally pledged his support to the GREAT Coalition.
Hon. Marau also shared his personal journey of battling a long-term illness and his ongoing road to recovery.
“I give all glory back to God for His grace that I am able to be here today and on my successful road to recovery,” Hon. Marau said.
Prime Minister Wale warmly welcomed Hon. Marau joined the GREAT Coalition, acknowledging his decision to support the Government and his commitment to serving the people of Ulawa/Ugi.
The addition of Hon. Marau further strengthens the GREAT Coalition as the Government continues to advance its development agenda for Solomon Islands.
