The Melanesian Spearhead Group MSG Police Commissioners conference gets under way at the Heritage Park Hotel today.
The conference brought together Police Commissioners from Vanuatu, Papua New Guinea, New Caledonia and Solomon Islands.
It discusses issues around regional police corporations and UN deployments.
Police Commissioner Frank Prendergast told local Journalists recently, such conference will bring valuable outcomes for the Royal Solomon Islands Police Force.
Commissioner Prendergast adds the conference will lead up to the MSG leader’s forum which will be held in Honiara in June.
SIBC News understands, the conference was hosted by the Royal Solomon Islands Police Force and concludes this Friday.
