Prime Minister Hon. Manasseh Sogavare MP delivered keynote address as the Chief guest where he encouraged women to live their Christian faith through Christ-like action at a gathering of the City Women Connection(CWC), marking the local organization’s 10th Anniversary at the St .Barnabas Hall, Honiara, over the weekend.
The ceremony organized by the City Women Connection was interdenominational, comprising women groupings from SICA and SIFGA churches and headed by President Martha Alacky.
President Ms. Alacky said that CWC’s vision is to EMPOWER women, therefore it is currently building alliances with women community leaders, in fostering developmental aspiration in partnership with all women church groups by providing a forum for mutual support and sharing of information, ideas, experiences and opportunities.
