The Royal Solomon Islands Police Force (RSIPF) are the best-trained police officers in the pacific.
RAMSI Special Coordinator Justin Braithwaite made the announcement during the RAMSI 12th Anniversary celebration yesterday.
Mrs Braithwaite said this is a result of good cooperation between the Participating Police Force PPF and the Royal Solomon Islands
Police Force every day.
She adds the Royal Solomon Islands Police Force today are the best-trained police officers in the pacific.
“In terms of training you may not be aware, but the RSIPF today is one of the best-trained, if not, the best-trained police forces in the Pacific.”
The RAMSI Special Coordinator adds RSIPF is now well equipped with motor vehicles and vessels-meeting pacific standard to police its provinces and border.
“By Pacific standards, the RSIPF has a large fleet of motor vehicles and vessels and it will soon take possession of another nine steady craft longer range vessels which will further strengthen its abilities to police the provinces and the border.”
