Auki police have confirmed that a ray boat with a 40-horse power Yamaha engine was found in Dai Island, North Malaita.
Supervising Provincial Police Commander (PPC) Malaita Province Superintendent Michael Ramosaea said the community elders from Dai Island have confirmed that they found the boat but no person on it.
Ramosaea said only slippers and two bag beetle nuts were found on the boat.
