Rendova Island has successfully established its Council of Chiefs after a traditional governance empowerment workshop at Lokuru Village last week.
The name of the council is “Rendova Tetepare Council of Chiefs.”
The Ministry of National Unity, Reconciliation and Peace (MNURP) says, this year, its Western Peace Office has successfully established seven ‘council of chiefs’ and ‘house of chiefs’ in Western Province.
