The Royal Solomon Islands Police Force (RSIPF) is closely monitoring the current political development in the country.
Police Commissioner, Matthew Varley told local journalists over the weekend, as the Sogavare-led government reviews its diplomatic ties with Taiwan, they are keeping a closer eye on its progress.
Commissioner Varley says while they are capable of public order management, Solomon Islands citizens should promote peace as law-abiding citizens.
