Solomon Islands Government (SIG) and the Solomon Forestry Association (SFA) have successfully raised more than $1 million to assist the Vanuatu Government’s effort to recover from the impact of Tropical Cyclone Pam.
A government statement says Committee Chairman, Hon. Bodo Dettke delivered the cheque to Prime Minister Hon. Manasseh Sogavare during the event.
The Prime Minister also personally contributed to the event on behalf of the Office of the Prime Minister and Cabinet by sponsoring two corporate tables.
